Group Questing!

Group questing is Pretty much exactly the same as questing solo apart from the fact that you are in a group.

Group questing is great as it is less boring and you get to talk to your friends whilst questing. Quests will get cleared alot faster than solo whilst in a group this meas hat you will clear leveling areas faster, However you will recieve less exp per mob if you are in a group. Exp loss depends on how many members are in the group and the level differences of players in the group.

There are drawbacks to group questing. If you go solo after questing in a group you may have to do some grinding to get to a level in which you can solo the quests you are on.

In some places you will HAVE TO group to do quests for example BC.

Grinding!

Grinding is the act of Killing a mob or a group of mobs over and over again.

Grinding a levelor two of exp may be advised if you are too low level for your quests but i would not reccomend grinding the whole game. You would miss out on alot of the content and probably bore yourself to death (unless you like grinding i guess).

Tips for grinding.
Here are a few bullet points to help you grind
- Grind in an area in which there are alot of mobs
- Kill mobs either your level or higher.
- Killing mobs your level with low hp pools will speed your exp/hr
- Always keep you exp/hr in mind!
- Start to form a kill line, Basically kill in a way in which by the time you run out of mobs they wil respawn near you (kill in a circle)
- Do not talk when you grind, i know this is a hard one to do but you will level faster if you do not talk to other players. However this might be boring.
- Dont get side tracked, if your going to grind then GRIND.
- Music tends to help me, Put on exciting music that gets you in the mood for grinding, i reccomend kid cudi but thats just my taste.
- Every 3 levels or so buy skills and new gear.

Group Intances/Dungeons

Grinding instances can be a great way to get exp.

Here is a few tips to help optimise your exp/hr

- When Choosing a group get people with the Highest dps you know
- Take a good healer dying wastes time and exp
- A great tank is your saviour. A good tank who can set a good pace is the most important thing when grinding dungeons etc.
- Down time is a bad thing!, healers should gain mana whilst the tank goes into the next pull however make sure that the healer does not run out of mana or go out of sight

Here are a few bullet points to help you grind in a group
- AOE is your friend! If you have a healer then Pull ALOT of mobs. Make sure your healer knows and use as much aoe as you can. this way you will kill more mobs faster.
- Grind in an area in which there are alot of mobs.
- Make sure your group members are killing as fast as they can. if a member is slacking you might want to kick them (if your only in it for exp/hr.

Generally group grinding is good for peoples whos classes meld will eg healer + gladiator/templar. A gladiator can pull 4 mobs and aoe them quite fast.

Generally 2 dps will be counter productive for 1 member of the group because like it or not 1 member wil always have higher dps and be more active. however a way to get round this is to kill elite mobs.

PVP means Player versus Player.

For each pvp kill you get you recieve exp points. PVP can be very fun or very frustrating depending on what type of player you are. For example if you are not good at pvp i would recomend not using pvp as a way to level up. Although pvp kills give exp it is hard to kill a player as often as you would kill a mob. Also you will die ALOT more than if you wer egrinding normal mobs.

Another thing to consider when using pvp to level up is to grind mobs whilst you pvp so that your exp/hr rate stays quite high. Leveling up via pvp can be quite rewarding as your pvp rank wil also increase whilst you level up this means instead of spending alot of time to get max rank and level 50 you could theoretically get a very high rank before you are level 50.

Pvp is quite a slow method to level but i put it as my #8 as it is funner than the next 2 methods.
